According to the preliminary estimate of the China National Sewing Machinery Association (CNSMA), the total output of industrial sewing machines in the industry in 2024 was approximately 6.85 million units, representing a year-on-year increase of 22.32%. Statistics from the association show that more than 100 key complete machine enterprises accumulatively produced 5.14 million industrial sewing machines, with a year-on-year growth of 15.41%. Among them, conventional machine types such as computerized lockstitch machines, overlock machines, coverstitch machines, thick material sewing machines, and embroidery machines all achieved medium-speed growth in double digits; while pattern sewing machines, template sewing machines, and automatic sewing units recorded medium-to-high speed growth of over 30%.
